So Teen Wolf is a show that references other media works, like DC and Marvel Comics. As a result, Stiles has canon knowledge of various comic book characters. To avoid canon-puncturing you and harshing your mellow, I have here a handy-dandy PERMISSIONS POST.

If so, what shouldn't he ever mention? Can he know your "Secret Identity" and swear never to reveal it? The usual Dorian rules are that Stiles can reference the famous novel but not content of the audios.

Do you want to 4th Wall Stiles in return? If only Dorian were from 2012 instead of 2007.

Can Stiles 4th Wall you? I'm not going to say 'no', because I see that a lot of other DC types have said yes, and I think the 4th walling rule requires a canon-wide OK. But, for me, I'd prefer that any DC 4th Walling... not happen in a conversation with Bart. You're free to talk about him with others to your heart's content.

There's nothing unmentionable. I'd prefer that Stiles isn't going around telling people that he's Impulse/K.F. II/Flash IV, but he can know. It's not the best kept secret identity anyway.

No. While sometimes it's tempting, 4th walling kinda does nothing for me in practice.

Bean: Stiles isn't likely to reference Ender's Game, I don't think, so I'd rather not
Miles: go ahead and recognize Spider-Man, but Miles himself is pretty new so maybe not
Clark: he's only 13 and not Super yet, so he'd be very confused, but go for it

Miles: Miles wont be surprised if you think he's Peter, since he took over relatively recently but you should check with Peter mun
Clark: has no secret ID yet but check with Superman mun; he'll freak out if you know he has powers and I like that so go ahead

Miles might reference the Teen Wolf movie but that's it.

Not necessarily! Stiles has already run into a couple of Marvel characters he does not know, and did not recognize. Nobody can read every comic and know every character. If you would prefer Stiles not to recognize Bart, then he won't.

I am a giant nerd for anything BBC sci-fi. Especially Red Dwarf, but that's a discussion for another time >_>

I'll have to scope out their website and see if I can buy anything here across the pond.

Ahah, I couldn't hold that against you. I've never seen Red Dwarf, though, though I've heard a lot of good.

A lot of them are downloadable so you should be able to just buy them for dl from the site, no shipping problems! Stuff that comes only in CDs ends up a bit more expensive but they ship. ...I say from Canada, having ordered a physical copy of their adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray. I don't have a problem, I just really like Oscar Wilde.

Billy: Oh yeah. I mean, it's canon in the Marvel universe that there are comic books of pretty much all of the superheroes out there within their world, like X-Men and the Avengers and stuff. Billy hasn't seen a Young Avengers comic, but he wouldn't be surprised if there was one out there!
Dick: I don't want to say no, but I saw since the Batfam = Wayne Family is not going to be discussed, I wouldn't mind it? I think Dick would be sort of flattered if Nightwing was ever discussed (when he's Nightwing, he's getting that costume soon!), and plenty of people also know Dick Grayson... basically don't tell him he's only a fictional character, and we're good.

Billy: Go right ahead! Billy hasn't kept any kind of secret identity going on here, though he hasn't outright been "Oh yeah I'm Wiccan", but that's cool. Just don't mention what happens in Children's Crusade, because Billy is only from the beginning of that and so has no idea what happens, and he doesn't want to.
Dick: Batfam says nope! Which is what I would say, too xD

I love how everyone is like, nope, we wouldn't watch that show BUT BILLY WOULD WATCH IT because he's Billy Kaplan and he loves that kind of stuff. Dick hates watching TV because he figures out the plots of it before they happen.

Can Stiles 4th Wall you? Superman has a lot of comics, movies and shit about him and books where people are 99% sure he eats diamonds (spoilers he doesn't) so he'd just assume Stiles has read one of those comics and try to tell him that nope he does't go do the laundry in Venus he swears.

I'd rather have him not know Clark Kent = Superman, mostly because it'd be pretty damn dangerous. He's free too know Clark and Lois are those journalists that are always writing about Superman though. Apart from that he's free to know every little detail about superman, like idk if he wants to know his Kryptonian parent's names or about that one time he died (it didn't take) go ahead.

That's not a problem at all! The way I'm looking at it is, those comics? Were kinda like the pirate comics in Watchmen. You don't need to know the backstory of the guy adrift at sea, he's adrift at sea and what will happen next?

So as far as Stiles is concerned, backstories and secret identities weren't covered in his comics that he read. It was enough that Batman and Superman were out fighting the Joker and Mxyzptlk.

She will possibly beat him into the ground with "people I am married, Superman and I are friends, don't imply I'm cheating on my husband I would never do that." But no S.I. unless it's been okay'd by both Clarks at least.

I do also play Gaius Septimus from Codex Alera. If you've even heard of it, you can agree that Stiles not knowing about it is... frankly more likely than him knowing about it. My poor obscure canon.

Mark/Invincible: So long as he doesn't do it publicly on the network, Mark would actually be fascinated at the concept he's a comic book character.

Alteration: I don't know if you saw that Barry's Flash comics, featuring Jay Garrick, are present on the Turtle. I hadn't realized they existed, but now that I know they exist in canon, I'm lifting the ban on him being known as a comic book character. I mentioned it in his post about the comics, but I'm not sure you saw it.
