character info
Character Name: Stiles Stilinski
Series: Teen Wolf
Character Age: 18
Canon Point: End of season 3, Lunar Eclipse.
Reference: http://teenwolf.wikia.com/wiki/Stiles_Stilinski
Gender: Male

Suitability: Aged up to 18 for the purposes of the game. Also a major virgin, so this'll be very interesting.

Appearance: This is him. Lots of plaid, sticky-uppy hair, flails his limbs way too much.

Personality: He is, at heart, a very good kid. Perhaps a bit more prone to getting in trouble than most kids his age, but the bottom line is this is a kid who would do anything for his friends, anything to protect his family, and try desperately to save lives, any way he could. Even through all the shifting alliances and friendships that mark the world he lives in, he's always willing to put himself on the line to help those he cares for. He's unendingly loyal, perhaps a bit too much, and nothing will shake him from that. Stiles does have a little bit of a morbid streak, though. This won't come out in his every-day conversation or the way he self-expresses. However, if there are reports of a crime, or a dead body somewhere, he just has to know exactly what's going on. Which means sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong, sometimes. The upside of this morbid streak is that he's usually the first to put the puzzle pieces together, and figure out what the hell is actually happening. He's incredibly smart, but unfortunately his ADHD sometimes gets in the way of it. If he forgets to take his meds, or takes too many, he can get more than a little spazzy. He's lived with that diagnosis since he was a small child, though, so he knows (mostly) how to manage it.

He has one great friend, his best friend, the friend he'd do anything for: Scott McCall. He and Scott started off as unpopular boys, barely getting any attention of any kind, positive or negative. The way he feels about Scott is an enormous part of his character. He was a very lonely kid, and Scott became his brother. Without Scott, he'd be a very different person, and he knows it. Scott's inherent goodness is a huge inspiration to Stiles, and they both keep the same sort of moral code, for the most part. Stiles a touch more practical in the end, but never ugly or cruel about it.

He has one great love in his life: One Lydia Martin. Having apparently known each other as children, Stiles has been mooning over her for years, and she barely acknowledges his existence. Or at least, she used to. Within the last six months, they've grown closer, perhaps understanding that they had a bond that the others in their circle of friends didn't understand. The humans. Although the edge of his obsession with her seems to be wearing off, as they grow closer. He has shifted his feelings into something more friendly as opposed to 'be mine forever plz' and isn't being creepy about it anymore. (Yeah, he was "That Guy" for a while and it was annoying.)

Stiles has a very antagonistic relationship with the other werewolves of Beacon Hills; the Hale pack, especially Derek Hale, worries him and annoys him and angers him all in equal measure. He and Derek are often at odds, but when push comes to shove, they'll help each other out, save each other's necks. The anger typically is the result of Derek's really piss-poor decision making skills. Seriously, Derek. Get your shit together.

His relationship with his father, the sheriff of Beacon Hills, is incredibly tight-knit, although Stiles has started to distance himself a little bit from his father. He says he wants to keep the man safe, and away from all the supernatural weirdness in his life. But he's starting to realize that's not working out so well. He will lie to his father, yes, but usually from the best intentions. Stiles is mildly obsessed with his father's health, forcing him to eat vegetables and stay away from junk food. He loves his father very, very much, and would be crushed if anything happened to him.

He can cry in front of people he trusts, but otherwise puts up an emotional wall of cheerful sarcasm and fast talking. It's not so much that he won't share his emotions, but rather that he finds them so overwhelming that it's hard to cope with them. Occasionally prone to panic attacks, he figures it's best to keep the negative bottled up and put away, even from his own self. This has everything to do with his mother's death, and his unprocessed feelings about it. He fully blames himself for it, although the reasons why haven't been made explicit. Survivor's guilt, perhaps. (It's been made explicit in canon when Claudia Stilinski died; when Stiles was nine years old. It's still not clear exactly what she died of, but it's heavily implied to be cancer.) There is a hint of a temper inside of him as well, but he can usually bite it back before it gets the better of him. Most of the time, though, he is all about the jokes. He has a very sarcastic sense of humor, very dry. Although he can get absolutely downright goofy if he wants to. Most everybody sees him as a complete spazz, and he's perfectly fine with that.

He's also incredibly brave. He will bounce back from events that would seriously traumatize a normal person. Near the end of season 2, Stiles withstood a beating from a Hunter who was bigger and stronger than him, all to protect two werewolves he didn't feel too cozy about. He will risk death to save others, and will even manage to endure exhaustion. Saving Derek Hale in the pool of the high school gym is proof enough of that. When directly threatened, he'll stand up for himself, and doesn't hesitate to come to rescue of others.

In spite of being tagged as the "comic relief" of his core of friends, he also has a serious side, but it's very rare. Most of the time he prefers to keep up the smile, the doofy act, the sarcasm and the jokes.

As of the end of season 3A, Stiles made a decision to sacrifice his innocence to save his father's life. As a result, he has a "darkness around his heart" that affects his character. He won't become evil per se, but he'll definitely be suffering from nightmares, insomnia, and perhaps a desire to be involved in some really rough and kinky stuff.

Powers, Abilities & Skills: Hahaha um. Power of sass, snark, and sarcasm. And Adderall-fueled Google searches. He's a baseline human, with no more strength than an average teenage boy.

First Person Sample: [Stiles taps one finger to the surface of the mirror, and he appears, looking disgusted and annoyed.]

...A shack. A literal shack. You couldn't have sprung for a more...amorous sort of spot? I mean, this is no bueno. Even a prom date usually goes to a Motel 6 or something. I'm not asking for a Westin resort, but...a literal shack? Great. Awesome. Let's put on some Barry White and screw in my shack.

Um. Anyway. I'm Stiles. Above rant was aimed at the people holding us here and not anybody held captive, just for the record. And I'm more than a little weirded out by all of this, and what's going on here, and can we not with the magical sexy times? The delicate flower of my manhood is not up for auction, okay? There's only one girl I'd want to bump uglies with, and she's not here. So until Lydia Martin appears, I'm keeping my V-card, thanks ever so much.

Third Person Sample: Flopping back down on his bed, in his new home, Stiles sighed and closed his eyes. Great. Trapped in a literal alternate universe. Like werewolves and dark druids and kanima weren't enough.

And worst of all, there was this super creepy council or whatever telling him that sexual energy would get him home faster. His eyes fell on his "welcome basket" and he groaned in annoyance and...something a little darker.

Awesome. Like, this wasn't the set-up for the weirdest and worst and skeeviest porno in the history of mankind. ...Okay there were other skeevier ones out there, but you really had to trawl the darkest corners of the internet to find it. Things involving parrots, god, who knows? And worst of all, he's intrigued.

He's interested. He'd become resigned to the fact that he was going to turn into Steve Carrel the 40 Year Old Virgin. He knew that the odds of him getting any before then were slim to nil. Who would want to sleep with him? He'd probably be terrible in the sack anyway, ADHD did not the best lovers make. Years and years of rejection had certainly done a number on his self-esteem. (Granted, he'd only really been after one girl who'd rejected him over and over, but still.) So...maybe here, he'd have a chance.

Ugh. Gross. Embarrassing. ....And also kinda hot.
