Canon Character Information

Name: Stiles Stilinski ("Stiles" is his nickname. His true first name has not been revealed in canon yet. I have a headcanon of Przemyslaw. It's pronounced "zem-ISH-shwaff." It's so Polish. This will never be used in game, it's just for my own amusement.)
PB: Dylan O'Brien
Journal: [personal profile] skybluejeep
Age: Seventeen.
Appearance: Stiles is a tall, lanky teenager with a fortunate tendency toward moles. He's just about six feet tall, one hundred and forty-seven pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He dresses casually, t-shirts and jeans for the most part, although he's very good about keeping them clean. He slouches a little, like most teenage boys do, and he has a tendency to spazz and flail around a bit, gesturing wildly with his whole body.

History: Teen Wolf Wiki. (For the record, there are some minor canon details wrong on this page. Mainly timeline stuff. But that's how Teen Wolf goes unfortunately. The show is so inconsistent with its timelines sob.)

Powers/Talents: Stiles is a baseline human with no special powers, but he does have ADHD. He requires Adderall to function day to day, or at least a high dose of caffeine. He's incredibly intelligent, able to put together pieces of puzzles in a rapid leap of logic.

Personality: He is, at heart, a very good kid. Perhaps a bit more prone to getting in trouble than most kids his age, but the bottom line is this is a kid who would do anything for his friends, anything to protect his family, and try desperately to save lives, any way he could. Even through all the shifting alliances and friendships that mark the world he lives in, he's always willing to put himself on the line to help those he cares for. He's unendingly loyal, perhaps a bit too much, and nothing will shake him from that. Stiles does have a little bit of a morbid streak, though. This won't come out in his every-day conversation or the way he self-expresses. However, if there are reports of a crime, or a dead body somewhere, he just has to know exactly what's going on. Which means sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong, sometimes. The upside of this morbid streak is that he's usually the first to put the puzzle pieces together, and figure out what the hell is actually happening. He's incredibly smart, but unfortunately his ADHD sometimes gets in the way of it. If he forgets to take his meds, or takes too many, he can get more than a little spazzy. He's lived with that diagnosis since he was a small child, though, so he knows (mostly) how to manage it.

And oh, boy. Stiles has a mouth on him. He's sarcastic as hell, with a very dry sense of humor. Except when he turns into a giant flailing goofball. He also has some serious issues with authority figures or people who are "stronger" than him, either physically or otherwise. He will gleefully flip off anybody who tries to assert their dominance over him, refusing to take the submissive role. (He'd be a terrible werewolf, he really would.) This has gotten him into some serious trouble, not just at school but in the supernatural world as well. He told an Alpha werewolf he was going to shove a stick up his ass, FFS.

He has one great friend, his best friend, the friend he'd do anything for, his brother by choice: Scott McCall. He and Scott started off as unpopular boys, barely getting any attention of any kind, positive or negative. The way he feels about Scott is an enormous part of his character. He was a very lonely kid, and Scott became his brother. Without Scott, he'd be a very different person, and he knows it. Scott's inherent goodness is a huge inspiration to Stiles, and they both keep the same sort of moral code. When Scott started dating Allison Argent, Stiles was one hundred percent supportive, running messages back and forth between the two when they were forbidden to see each other. He likes and respects Allison a lot, seeing her as a very dear friend. (Anybody who loves Scott can't be bad at all in his book.)

He has one great love in his life: One Lydia Martin. Having apparently known each other as children, Stiles has been mooning over her for years, and she barely acknowledges his existence. Or at least, she used to. Within the last six months, they've grown closer, perhaps understanding that they had a bond that the others in their circle of friends didn't understand. The humans. Although the edge of his obsession with her seems to be wearing off, as they grow closer. He has shifted his feelings into something more friendly as opposed to 'be mine forever plz' and isn't being creepy about it anymore. (Yeah, he was "That Guy" for a while and it was annoying.)

His relationship with his father, the sheriff of Beacon Hills, is incredibly tight-knit, although Stiles has started to distance himself a little bit from his father. He says he wants to keep the man safe, and away from all the supernatural weirdness in his life. But he's starting to realize that's not working out so well. He will lie to his father, yes, but usually from the best intentions. Stiles is mildly obsessed with his father's health, forcing him to eat vegetables and stay away from junk food. He loves his father very, very much, and would be crushed if anything happened to him.

He can cry in front of people he trusts, but otherwise puts up an emotional wall of cheerful sarcasm and fast talking. It's not so much that he won't share his emotions, but rather that he finds them so overwhelming that it's hard to cope with them. Occasionally prone to panic attacks, he figures it's best to keep the negative bottled up and put away, even from his own self. This has everything to do with his mother's death, and his unprocessed feelings about it. He fully blames himself for it. (It's been revealed in canon that his mother Claudia died of frontotemporal dementia. Stiles was the only person with her at the time of her passing, his father out on an accident call. It's implied that Stiles feels responsible for this event, perhaps due to the fact that he promised his dad to watch over her while he was gone.) There is a hint of a temper inside of him as well, but he can usually bite it back before it gets the better of him. Most of the time, though, he is all about the jokes. He has a very sarcastic sense of humor, very dry. Although he can get absolutely downright goofy if he wants to. Most everybody sees him as a complete spazz, and he's perfectly fine with that.

He's also incredibly brave. He will bounce back from events that would seriously traumatize a normal person. Near the end of season 2, Stiles withstood a beating from a Hunter who was bigger and stronger than him, all to protect two werewolves he didn't feel too cozy about. He will risk death to save others, and will even manage to endure exhaustion. Saving Derek Hale in the pool of the high school gym is proof enough of that. When directly threatened, he'll stand up for himself, and doesn't hesitate to come to rescue of others.

In spite of being tagged as the "comic relief" of his core of friends, he also has a serious side, but it's very rare. Most of the time he prefers to keep up the smile, the doofy act, the sarcasm and the jokes.

Why would your character be chosen? Stiles has a killer sense of humor, loyalty for miles, and can research like a demon when he gets his focus in place. He'd be a great partner and asset to anybody. It really is a shame he's a virgin, and never had a romantic relationship before!

How much does your character know about nonhumans? Stiles has a very comprehensive knowledge of non-human werewolves and similar creatures from his home world. He's passingly familiar with most 'myths' from other cultures, like the names of Greek/Roman gods, the Norse pantheon, Japanese demons, etc. Whether or not he'll believe they're real at first remains to be seen.

Why this character: Stiles is my main character, and has been for well over a year now. (I have a tendency to gravitate toward sarcastic little shits in my roster. I played Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf, for pity's sake XD) I've got the strongest grasp on his voice, and frankly he's my favorite Teen Wolf character.

First-Person:

Welp. I sure as hell just woke up underneath the Whomping Willow. Or something. I have a feeling I'm not in Beacon Hills anymore, Toto.

Can anybody shoot me a quick download of what the actual frickity-frack is going on here? Last thing I remember, I was at home. In bed. Having some really vivid nightmares. About trees. Yes, cut down trees featured in my nightmares, shut up, not even kidding here. So if this is another nightmare, can I wake up now? Because this is pretty lucid for me, not even gonna lie.

Third-Person: Stiles and Cora face down a giant dragon.
