[And for once, Stiles listens! He doesn't push it anymore, because yep, he's managed to depress himself.]

You want noodles tonight? Or rice?

Both. [ He nods once. ]

Noodles. And rice. And eggrolls. And potstickers.

How the hell do you maintain that perfect body, you bastard?

[garou]

[ Cheeky: ] Werewolf.

Ugh, of course.

[They're finally close to the stall, and Stiles' nose and lips are bright red from the cold.]

You're a dirty cheater, you really are.

[garou]

[ Derek raises an eyebrow, watches Stiles for a moment, trying to remember if he'd get frostbite from this weather or if he'd just be chilly for a while. He ended up at the conclusion that Stiles would be fine, for now, if whiny. He could deal with whiny.

He snorts out a small laugh, though, glancing up and down Stiles' torso, back up to his face. ] You're on track and the lacrosse team. You can't tell me that you don't work out.

Yes. I work out. I'm freakin' training to fight with Batman right now.

But seriously. That's a lot of carbs to maintain that incredible six-pack, dude. It's really not fair.

[ He shrugs. ] That's my metabolism.

And it's cheating.

[Of course, this is all pointing to the fact that Stiles is noticing Derek's amazing stomach. Frequently.]

[ He isn't the first. At least he's not talking about Derek's 'incredible physique'. ] It's not cheating when it's the way I was born.

Derek, you were born perfect. Yes, I know. And it's still cheating.

Two orders of rice, two orders of noodles...

[He's addressing the Kedan waitress now. Pointedly not looking Derek's beautiful body up and down.]

[ Then he doesn't see Derek flush faintly at being called perfect. ] Eggrolls. Potstickers. Do they have something like Mongolian Beef?

Beef dishes?

[He's given a small paper menu, and Stiles points out three dishes that look the best, including one close-to-Mongolian beef one.]

These three mains. And almond cookies.

[Say this about the turtle, the street food is amazing.]

[ He's trusting Stiles, for the most part, to get stuff that tastes good, mostly because the stand itself doesn't smell 'off'. He watches Stiles order, helps him gather up their bags when their food is ready. ] Is this everything?

This is everything. And we'll probably eat it all tonight.

[He pays the waitress, including a very generous tip. And she gives him a little pat on the cheek, a fond one. Apparently he comes here often, and tips well all the time.]

[garou]

[ Derek nods toward her when she looks his way, and turns to go. ] Probably. I have to keep my metabolism fed somehow.

[He hefts a bag under one arm, and heads back out into the cold night.]

I can see how it is. Eating me out of house and home.

[garou]

You just paid someone else to make this, Stiles, if I'm eating anyone out, it's them.

[ Wait. ]

I mean eating them out of house and home.

[skybluejeep]

[And that just makes Stiles burst out laughing, a full-on cackling belly laugh, to the point where he has to pause, put down his bag of food, and double over with his hands on his knees.

Yeah. He's amused.]

Stiles. [ Derek, on the other hand, isn't. ] It's not that funny.

[He's gasping he's laughing so hard.]
