[ Derek squeezes his hand gently, and when they make it to Stiles' room, only lets go long enough to divest himself of his shirt and his jeans, leaving them in a pile on the floor. He crawls into the bed and settles himself on it, watching Stiles with rapt attention. ]

[Talk about rapt attention. As Derek strips, Stiles freezes in the doorway of his room. Derek Hale is wearing nothing but really nice black boxers. And is laying in his bed. His jaw his hanging open and his eyes are huge and round.]

Oh my god.

[ Derek pauses, and glances down at himself. ] ....what?

...You. In my bed. Mostly naked.

If I told you how much I'd been dreaming about this we'd be here until next year.

[He peels off his robe with a gulp...and then drops his sweatpants. He's got on a pair of boxers as well, nowhere near as fancy as Derek's. But his t-shirt stays on. And he's suddenly come over all shy as he crawls in next to Derek.]

[ He crowds up into Stiles' personal space the minute he's lying in the bed, grabbing him and drawing him close. ] You were dreaming about me?

[Oof. Grabby werewolf! But he likes it, and he cuddles up just as close.]

Yeah. Day dreaming and dreaming dreaming. I told you, I wasn't messed up for no reason.

...You're so warm.

[garou]

[ Derek dips his head down, pressing his nose to Stiles' temple. ] Werewolves run hotter than humans.

This summer is gonna be a fun exercise in cooling off at night, then.

[Yeah. He's already thinking that far ahead, that they'll still be together when the weather warms up.

Tentatively, he lifts one hand and hovers over Derek's chest.

...May I?

[Because it's one thing to be cuddling, it's another touch.]

[ Derek blinks, at the implication that this will last, at Stiles asking him if he can touch. ] Yeah.

[With the flat of his palm, Stiles starts rolling his hand over the broad, very well-muscled planes of Derek's chest, and the sound he lets out is...well. Let's just call it very manly and aroused. It's not at all a squeak of excitement, not at all.]

[ Derek watches him, slightly bemused, arm draped loosely over Stiles' hip. ] So? Do I pass inspection?

Grade A plus. FDA approved prime werewolf Alpha hunk.

[He's exploring every dip, every curve, every little line. And then the very tips of his fingers circle once, playfully, over Derek's right nipple.]

[ Derek sucks in his breath through his teeth at that, letting it out in a soft hum. ] I'm not a piece of meat.

Never said you were. That's not how I meant it.

[Seeing the response there, Stiles lightly pinches that nipple in retaliation, a fond smile on his face.]

Although I wouldn't mind some sausage right now.

[ He gets a grunt and a glare in response to that. ]

[He guffaws laughing, and then drops his head onto Derek's chest. A beat, and then a small, quick kiss. And then another. The laughter dies down into giggles. And now, yeah, he's kissing as much of Derek's chest as he can, a giant grin on his face. He's just so happy right now.]

[ Derek lays back and lets him go at it, drawing a hand through Stiles' hair. He watches him with a fond look, letting out little gasps each time Stiles' mouth meets his skin. ]

[He's ecstatic. Hearing those little gasps, seeing how Derek's responding...god. This is really happening. It's not just a fluke, or him feeling sorry for him, or anything.

As the kisses go on, they get a little friskier, a little hotter. And his hands are wandering again. Soon, it's very obvious that certain things are happening below the waist. Ahem. He's a teenage boy, he gets hard from the slightest stimulation.]

[ Derek can feel it pressed against his thigh, and he tugs Stiles back up, settling the younger boy against his chest. It isn't for a lack of wanting to, his own arousal obvious against Stiles' hip. But he can't. Not yet. Not now. ] Stiles...

[There's a moment where he pauses, his eyes wide and his pupils blown with lust. He licks his lips, and then nods once.]

Sorry. Yeah. Too soon. You're right...

[He settles back down against Derek's chest, heart rabbiting a million miles a minute, before pressing one small, almost chaste kiss to Derek's bare shoulder. God. Derek's turned on too. Derek's turned on too! Christmas has definitely come very early this year.]

...Thank you. [ He leans his head down, placing a soft kiss to Stiles' head. ]

Hey, if you're not into it, I'm not into it. All awkward boners aside.

[He sighs a bit, counting triples in his head to distract himself. 3, 6, 9....]

[ Derek huffs softly, tilting Stiles' face up to kiss him on the mouth. ] Never said I wasn't into it. Just... not tonight.

No, I agree.

[His voice is surprisingly firm, for all that he's trembling with need. And he props himself up on one elbow, gazing down at Derek.]

...When I was, god, about thirteen? My dad gave me the highly embarrassing birds and bees talk. Like, how it works and what could happen, and babies, and how it should be special, blah blah.

But then...then he got to the part about consent.

[And Stiles looks suitably contrite, and his voice is low, knowing what a sore spot this is for Derek.]

And he kinda gave me the, um, legal aspects of how necessary it all is. And how it could really fuck me up. No pun intended. He said he never wanted to see me as a victim...or as somebody who would defy trust like that.

So. Derek. What I'm saying is I'm a big believer in consent. The night I kissed you, when you didn't want it? I really screwed up, because I thought you did. But you didn't say "yes" and that was my fault. I hope some day you can forgive me...

[ Derek blinks up at him, confused at first, and then with wide, surprised eyes. He reaches up, runs his hands through Stiles' hair, and then down his face and neck, resting his palm there. ] Stiles... I'm in your bed, half naked and pretty aroused, I think forgiveness is the least of your concerns.
