[She laughs softly for a second.

He did tell me to buy some. [She lifts her skirt just slightly to show off her new boots.] I took his advice.

I want to be able to help him, too.

Smart girl. I just figured, you liked the barefoot thing. Although maybe not in snow.

So what's in the bag?

Mostly food. Whenever I feel sad, it always helped to have some kind of treat to make me feel better. I baked muffins this morning. With chocolate chips.

Do you want one?

I do like muffins.

[He's peering into the bag hopefully, a little smile curling up his lips.]

We should save some for Isaac.

I can do that.

[She pulls out one of the muffins and hands it to Stiles.]

Here. Eat up.

Just watch me.

[He peels the paper off the bottom and starts nibbling away, gesturing for her to have a seat.]

Hey. I could show you the outline of the script I'm writing for the radio show. Just...since my usual distraction of movies and binge viewings of NCIS aren't an option.

[Rapunzel takes the offered seat.]

I'd love to see it. Is it going well?

Yeah, I think it is.

[He reaches under the coffee table, and pulls out a notebook, full of hand-written pages. He's got nice handwriting. And he's got a decent outline! Sort of. There's a lot of scribbled notes in the margins, and crossed out sections. And there's not much of a plot, what little there is.]

[Rapunzel takes the notebook and starts looking over what he has written so far. Absently, she curls up her legs, tucking her knees close to her, and plays with some of her loose hair. It's one of her typical reading stances.]

It's a good start. I've never written much before, but I think you could do a lot with this!

[He curls up next to her, still eating that muffin, and resting his head on her shoulder.]

I hope so. If people don't like it, I don't know what I'll do next. Maybe petition the Emperor for access to the library, see if there are any plays.

[Rapunzel drops lets the hair drop from her hand and moves to hold Stiles' hand instead. She gives it a gentle squeeze.]

I'm sure they will. If you need any help finishing the script, just let me know.

[He squeezes back. God, she was just so...nice to be around.]

Okay. I might just take you up on that. Don't be shocked when I say bad words though. It's the prerogative of every temperamental director to cuss a blue streak when things go wrong.

[She laughed gently.]

I'll just take away a snack every time you do.

...That's completely cheating and unfair! You'd deprive me of delicious treats?

Well, I'm the one who makes most of them...so it seems only fair to me.

One of these days, I'm gonna make you treats. And then I'll deny you their treaty-goodness.

But I'm only denying you treats for bad words. Do you really think I would use bad words?

[DISNEY PRINCESS, STILES.]

[TEENAGE BOY, RAPUNZEL.]

I would love to hear you say a bad word, if only to satisfy my dark and perverse soul.

[CURSES.

She blushes and glances back at the notebook.]

Well, I don't think that will happen any time soon.

[He just giggles, settling back down against her and nibbling on the muffin again.]

I'm sure it won't, beautiful.

So when are you supposed to have this finished?

Well, I don't really have a date yet. But I've talked to Clark Kent about using his studio, so...soon? I mean, if people are interested. I've been contacting some people to act in it.

I hope they're good.

There's bound to be some good actors here, right? It'll be great. I know it.
