[She ends the call, and after packing up a few things to bring with her, she makes her way to Stiles' suite. Soon enough she's knocking on his door.]

[He answers the door in his jeans and a t-shirt; his suite is nice and warm. He's learned the trick of turning on his oven to heat the place up. He's not smiling, a first when he's around her.]

Hey, beautiful.

[Immediately, Rapunzel sets down the bag that she'd brought with her and wraps her arms around Stiles in tight hug.]

I'm sorry, Stiles.

[He hugs her back immediately, resting his chin on her shoulder. And he closes the door behind her.]

Thanks. I'll be okay. I really will. I mean, I was here without him for a month before he showed up. Maybe he'll show up again. I mean, I talked to somebody on the network who did that. It could happen.

It could. I'm sure you'll see him again. One way or another.

Yeah. I feel really bad for Isaac right now, though. He just lost his boyfriend. He has got the worst luck, I swear...

[He picks up the bag and leads her into his suite proper. It's very obvious that a boy lives here. Alone. It's cluttered, and slightly messy, and there are books and clothes all over the floor. Heh.]

[When things are less, well, angsty, Rapunzel will be all over that mess, Stiles. Watch out.

She follows him along, picking up the bag again along the way.]

We should try doing something for him too. Later.

[Oh dear. No, Rapunzel. At best you should make him clean it up himself.]

Yeah. I just...I don't know what. He's lost his boyfriend, Erica was one of his best friends and she's gone now too, he's lost his entire family, his brother and his father, Derek's being a colossal di-...jerk to him.

I just...crap. I should invite him over, make sure he's not alone.

I think that's a good start. If he's lost so many people...it could help to be reminded of the people he does have with him. Let him know he's not alone.

He's not. I'm here. I mean, we've had our differences, but otherwise, I try to be his friend.

You know, it was pretty funny, right after the cold snap hit? He was pestering me to buy you shoes.

[She laughs softly for a second.

He did tell me to buy some. [She lifts her skirt just slightly to show off her new boots.] I took his advice.

I want to be able to help him, too.

Smart girl. I just figured, you liked the barefoot thing. Although maybe not in snow.

So what's in the bag?

Mostly food. Whenever I feel sad, it always helped to have some kind of treat to make me feel better. I baked muffins this morning. With chocolate chips.

Do you want one?

I do like muffins.

[He's peering into the bag hopefully, a little smile curling up his lips.]

We should save some for Isaac.

I can do that.

[She pulls out one of the muffins and hands it to Stiles.]

Here. Eat up.

Just watch me.

[He peels the paper off the bottom and starts nibbling away, gesturing for her to have a seat.]

Hey. I could show you the outline of the script I'm writing for the radio show. Just...since my usual distraction of movies and binge viewings of NCIS aren't an option.

[Rapunzel takes the offered seat.]

I'd love to see it. Is it going well?

Yeah, I think it is.

[He reaches under the coffee table, and pulls out a notebook, full of hand-written pages. He's got nice handwriting. And he's got a decent outline! Sort of. There's a lot of scribbled notes in the margins, and crossed out sections. And there's not much of a plot, what little there is.]

[Rapunzel takes the notebook and starts looking over what he has written so far. Absently, she curls up her legs, tucking her knees close to her, and plays with some of her loose hair. It's one of her typical reading stances.]

It's a good start. I've never written much before, but I think you could do a lot with this!
